To make conditions more conducive to exercising equality rights . Recipe n.51 . What Institution of an "itinerant service"offering information and sensitisation towards women's rights, equal opportunities, maternity. La Federation Mujeres Progresistas, in co-operation with the Ayuntamiento de Madrid, has performed an intervention, using an itinerant camper, in the nearer rural countries, in the aim of informing women about laws, employment, health, social work, echology and environment, associations. External staff has been engaged, and a short training course about the project has been organised for them. Then, on the basis of the information collected by the local authorities about the need of women living in the commune, the staff has collected all the information material regarding each area and distributed it all over the territories concerned. The initiative has been financed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. How much The costs can differ, depending on the time, the number of municipalities involved, the number of people forming the staff. These kind of actions are foreseen by the rules of the European Union in matters of Equal opportunities. It will be possible, as a consequence, to use Minister or Community Fundings, allocated for those activities. How Each municipality involved in this initiative has to be able to summarize the need for information of women in its own territory. Then they have to establish the organisation of the action: personnel to be in charge - who could be selected among the "public utility workers" in each municipality -; the mean or the means to be used (camper); the publicisation of the event (through handbills in schools, in churches .. ); calendars of the meetings in each municipality; collection of materials to be distributed to the women who will benefit from the service. Why The decision to make such an action was an ideal from the acknowledgement that women living in rural areas are often excluded from the social and cultural processes which take place in the more populated towns, where initiative in favour of women are more commonly implemented.   Results   Distribution of information all over the territory. Sensitisation on women's issues.
