What Assistance given to women entrepreneurs, through the "Business Advisor" system. NUTEK, National Board for Industrial and Technical Development has implemented the "Business Advisor" system, which consists of an advisor in charge of helping the new-born-enterprise owners from a technical and psychological point of view. How much In Sweden the costs are to be partly charged to the Government for and partly to the Municipality for the rest. In our system, it could be possible to avoid direct costs appointing people already dependent or collaborating with the Municipality or having conventions for "socially useful" works, or other. How The Municipality who is willing to offer a service of advice and help for women entrepreneur has to send a specific project to the Government, since there are public funds able to partially cover these costs. The residual costs are born by the Municipality. In a great number of Swedish municipalities there exists "Business Advisor", while the smaller municipalities are attended, in the different days of the week, by a common Advisor. The task of an Advisor is to offer a number of services to women entrepreneur, such as guidance, help for the performance of market surveys, and for the drawing of a feasibility project, having a "friendly approach" with the people addressing to the service. In Sweden these projects have an established term, but it often happens that the service goes on after the end of the project with the Municipality's funds thanks to the good results obtained before. It is essential that the Advisor is from the beginning included within the staff of the municipality. Why This action was born by the willing to act in a uniform and targeted way on the territory, in the enterprise sector, where women are less represented, as it has been shown by a survey conducted on the national statistics. Results We have detected a growing trend towards self-employment in women. Moreover, the number of interventions supporting women entrepreneur, like the "Business Advisor" system, has given a great rise to the enterprise creation by women.   References for further informazion: ING.
